In the framework of the 73 UNGA 2018, Colombia and Mozambique signed Memorandum of Understanding on Technical Cooperation

New York (sep. 27/18). Taking the stage as the seventy-third session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, in a bilateral meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, Carlos Holmes Trujillo García, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Mozambique, José Pacheco, signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Technical Cooperation, which seeks to “Promote the development and implementation of programs, projects and other forms of technical cooperation in areas of common interest”.

With the subscription of this instrument, both countries will continue to deepen the bonds of friendship existing, through activities of south-South cooperation and Triangular cooperation, which, through technical assistance, knowledge exchanges and dialogues between experts, enable you to find solutions to common problems are consistent with the contexts of these countries, as set out in the Sustainable Development Goals.

Both countries will be defined by virtual meetings, or in writing, a plan of action for the implementation of specific activities, which will be developed in accordance with the topics of interest are identified.
