We recently launched version 1.3.3 of  free and professional WpeMatico plugins. This version comes with several important improvements. Among them, you will find the “order by drag and drop” of the feeds to be consulted. This is an important upgrade, because it allows the user to set the order in which the new posts will be added when running a campaign.

We have eliminated the background colors of the meta boxes on campaign editing screen and we’ve added colours to the background of the titles. This is a very useful feature at the testing stage, that will allow you to find almost immediately, what you are looking for.

Little by little, we are adding more and more help tips on the WordPress help tabs. On our latest upgrade, it was the turn of the post templates.

We are also continually improving the support tickets system for paid customers and free users alike. Please, note that the ticket system is TOTALLY FREE!

For users who require some sort of deeper support related with ours plugins, such as personalized customizations for websites or special development of WordPress codes or filters (among other features), we have added the Premium Support Service. Our Premium Support Service is immediately accessible after buying our product and creating a ticket.

Last but not least, we are creating the FAQ section with the most common questions asked by our users. There are few questions yet, because WPeMatico is really easy to use. Being our plugin continuously updated and improved, the users normally do not find problems or issues.

Introduction

Publishing to an email

WordPress comes with a built in way to publish posts via email.  Find and activate it in your WordPress admin, Settings, Writing page.

However, for the same purpose, I have used a very powerful plugin frequently.  It is called Postie and it has many more features than the feature that comes with WordPress.  After being set up, it is also very simple to use.   Whatever you have to publish, it will be sent by email to a special account.  Every certain time, the plugin reads the email account and the content found is published as posts.

There is also another similar way to publish by email with Jetpack Feature: Post by email. Which requires connect your blog to Jetpack from WordPress.com.

But now, i⁠⁠t is possible to publish automatically and remotely via email from the feeds of your choice, using any of those clients on your autohosted WordPress site!

This Add-on allows to use WPeMatico from a WordPress website and to send the fetched posts from each campaign to an email account.  Each campaign allows sending content to a different email account. Therefore, it can post from a unique website with WPeMatico plugin to many different websites.

• As it does not post locally, it improves the performance and reduces the server load in both websites.

How it works

Posting Via Email adds a metabox to each campaign in order to systematize the post entries.

The Add-on will use the whole campaign data to obtain the content to be published automatically.

But now the posts will be sent to an email address -set up with the plugin used in destiny website- that will read and publish them on the blog and you can decide if also publish the entries on your local blog or not.

Telling the news!

WPeMatico is changing its look. Addition to changing the graphics and banners, the 1.3.6 version shows some important changes in the list of campaigns, in which not only the appearance was improved, also was accompanied by several improvements in the interaction with the user to get an easier campaign management.

Quick actions “Run now”, “Activate” and “Deactivate” were eliminated and the corresponding buttons were added to perform these actions. These buttons are always visible indicating the status of the campaign by color. Putting the mouse above also describes its action.

The external cron system was also changed by adding a password that can be set in the plugin settings page.

There are also some major new features in Full Content Add-on. In this case it’s 1.3.6 version and among other things was added the feature to extract multi-page content. That is, when we are fetching the remote content, many times we find links to articles that follow on few following pages. From now, instead of lose that content, you can add the links (in XPath format) to the configuration files to follow and extract all pages of the article as an unique content.

Other enhancements in this plugin are the ability to take from the extracted content, the date, the author and/or the title for the published post.

New version adds a metabox in the edition of the campaign in which the desired options are selected and also was improved the tutorials and the help in editor page built-in, to edit the configuration files used for these new functions and for extracting the remote content.

There are also several fixes and improvements in the Professional and Publish 2 Email extensions.

And it will not stop here, every 2 or 3 weeks we release new versions with fixes and improvements and we will continue working on new extensions with new features.

It was named this new Addon parodying “Make me feel good”! Finally born Make me Feed Good. A new plugin to create your own feeds!

WPeMatico will use the results of this Addon almost without limits! That can be created from external websites.. Yes! Any website that is displayed in the HTML standard with DOM elements and CSS attributes “class” or “id” can be read by the plugin and create your own feed with external content.
It’s incredibly easy!

Make me Feed creates a RSS 2.0 feed with titles and links from an external website, no matter that already has some feed or not! You point which links want to add to your content, and it makes the feed with the limit of items that you indicate.

But now comes the best part, Make me Feed gets along very well with the add-on WPeMatico Full Content and can automatically use its features and configuration files to get the full content of each captured link and put it as content for the item in the feed. In this way you will have a feed from an external site with all the permalinks to articles and the full contents for display directly in a page of your site in RSS 2.0 format.

Make me feed works with the internal WordPress cache systems, so it is not continuously accessing to the other sites. Which can significantly delay or get timeouts in the execution or loads of pages, but that each external page read is saved by some time to be used as content, gaining in performance and significantly lowering loads on the server.

These feeds can be read easily by a WPeMatico campaign or any feed reader.
It is the ideal complement for WPeMatico together with the AddOn Full Content.

We’ve added several common questions to the FAQ section and several of them in the form of step by step tutorials so that it’s even easier to use things!

Improvements to the support system

We are continuing to improve the ticket system that so many people have been asking about. It is now operational and you can easily see the attachments to each ticket from the site.

The email monitoring and response system for tickets is very useful and very soon we will also add the option to send and receive attached files in the emails themselves.

Improvements to user accounts

The user profile has been greatly improved, with several additional tabs with direct access to Profile, My Licenses, Downloads, Purchase History, and Support tickets.

This allows you to always have access to all of your information, licenses and subscriptions with just 2 clicks. You can also expand and renew your licenses or manage your subscriptions.

Credit cards + PayPal

Several customers requested an alternative payment method to PayPal because it isn’t available in their country. Now, we have implemented an option with credit and debit cards via 2Checkout. But Now we launched the first AddOn that also works on an individual basis for standard WordPress posts!
The new Better Excerpts 2.0 works with or without WPeMatico! That’s why can be purchased for use as an extension of the WPeMatico or as exclusive use to significantly improve the excerpts of WordPress entries.
