COMMUNIQUE OF THE PRESIDENCY OF THE REPUBLIC

The President of the Republic considers, on the proposal of the Prime minister, to appoint Mr. Jean-Raphaël ALVENTOSA as a mediator of the credit to the candidates and political parties.

The President of the national Assembly and the President of the Senate, are seized of this project appointment, so that the commission would be interested in each of the assemblies to decide in the conditions provided for by the fifth paragraph of article 13 of the Constitution.

The law n° 2017-1339 of September 15, 2017 for the trust in political life established a credit mediator to candidates and to political parties. It is the responsibility of compete, facilitating the dialogue between, on the one hand, candidates for elective office and political parties and groups and, on the other hand, the credit institutions and finance companies, financing, legal and transparent political life, in order to promote, in accordance with articles 2 and 4 of the Constitution, the equality of all before the vote, the pluralist expression of opinions and the equitable participation of parties and political groups in the democratic life of the Nation. He is appointed by decree of the President of the Republic for a term of six years non renewable. The decree n° 2018-205 of 27 march 2018 relating to the ombudsman of the credit to the candidates and political parties specified the terms of reference of the mediator and the mediation process.
