It is expected that the summit will sum up the results of cooperation within the CIS background information the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in the current year and discussed the key directions of further development of the Commonwealth. Particular attention will be paid to questions of preparation for joint celebration in 2020 of the 75 th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war.Following the meeting, the planned signing of several multilateral agreements on deepening cooperation in the humanitarian, law enforcement and military fields. Also planned is the adoption of decisions of an organizational nature, in particular the chairmanship of Turkmenistan in CIS in 2019.
