Headline: adaptation of the care-remaining costs for the reimbursement of care materials
The government has made an adjustment to the maintenance-remainder of cost to be borne by the municipalities for home care provider for the reimbursement of care materials. Background of the Amendment, a guiding decision by the Federal administrative court is, according to the cost of care, materials used in homes are not financed, contrary to the long-established practice in most of the cantons by the health insurer, but rather the rest of the care to be financed from tax revenues-to-costs to be allocated. This judgment was transferred from the insurers to the Spitex-analog. As a consequence, a considerable loss of Yield occurs with all providers, outpatient care, and costs of care are no longer covered. This financial gap is the cost care about the rest of the financing by the municipalities to close. In the case of private home care providers (organisations and self-employed Nurses) without the mandate the rest is set does not cost more to cover costs.
