A 55-year-old man died in a vehicular accident involving two trucks on National Route No. 35, near kilometer 702, in the jurisdiction of Holmberg, Rio Cuarto department, in the province of Cordoba. According to the police report accessed by the Argentinian News Agency, the collision involved a Mercedes Benz truck and a Scania, both loaded with grain. The impact was severe, resulting in the death of one driver at the scene. Emergency services confirmed the driver’s death, while the other driver was taken to San Antonio de Padua Hospital with significant injuries. The cause of the accident remains unknown, and the on-duty prosecutor’s office is investigating the incident and attempting to collect footage from nearby security cameras.
