Both programs allow young professionals to be deployed around the world to support United Nations organizations. The 2018 Promotion is made up of 16 young associate experts for the UN, two young associate experts for the OSCE and 14 UN Volunteers. They will work in 22 United Nations agencies (including the General Secretariat, IOM, UNHCR, IAEA, UNRWA, IFAD), adding to the 33 JPOs and 17 UNVs already deployed. Since 1971, more than 30,000 volunteers have worked with the program. UNV in more than 140 developing countries. By participating in these programs, France is reinforcing the action of international organizations in this field, in accordance with the commitments of the President of the Republic in favor of multilateralism.
