Headline: Possible referendum vote on the STAF on 19 May 2019
A possible referendum vote on the Federal Law on Tax Reform and AHV Financing (STAF, formerly Tax Bill 17) is expected to take place on 19 May 2019 and the law is expected to enter into force on 1 January 2020. This was decided by the Federal Council after considering possible earlier voting dates at its meeting on 28 September 2018.
