President Raimonds Vējonis on Monday, August 13, 2018, in Malpils participated in the opening ceremony of the International Guardian International Youth Guard Camp 2018, which will take place until 17 August. "The national president noted that this international camp is a great place where Young people not only get new friends but also develop their leadership skills, as well as compete with each other with their knowledge and skills. The International Guardian Camp "Baltic Guards 2018" is organized by the Youth Guard and Information Center. It includes 130 adolescents and young people aged 14 to 19 – young guardians and cadets (young people from related organizations) from the Baltic States, Britain, Poland and Ukraine.
