The attorney General of the Union (AGU) has obtained Justice in a decision that ensured the regularity of the courses of engineering offered by a federal institution in the state of Amazonas, as well as the records professionals of the trainees along with the body of the class. The actions occurred within the scope of the writ of amparo petitioned by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas (IFAM) against the Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy (CREA/AM), which was denying registration to the courses and students. The CREA/AM was requiring a prior professional registration and accountability of technical staff as a condition for granting authorization for operation of the san felipe and later lease records, to the learner. In the writ of security, however, the IFAM has shown that their courses of high school and college level (Civil Engineering, Control Engineering and Automation and Mechanical Engineering) to follow the determinations of the Law of Guidelines and Bases of Education. In this way, it is the responsibility of the Ministry of Education (MEC), and not to the CREA, the regulation and supervision in the context of the federal system of education, including the accreditation of the institutions, and the recognition of courses, so that there is no legal requirement for approval or supervision by professional councils. The 3rd Vara Civil do Amazonas, responsible for the trial of the case, welcomed the arguments of the AGU, recognizing in its decision that the teaching at the federal institute is subject to the supervision of the MEC.“In this way, it can be seen that it is not for professional advice to the audit of the courses taught by the IFAM, under penalty of intrude assignment that was not part of its scope of activity”, summarized the magistrada to defer the warrant of security.Ref.: Writ of mandamus no. 1003119-57.2018.4.01.3200 – SJAM.

The president of the state of Raimond Vējoņa a press statement after the Arajološas group president meeting

MIL OSI Translation. Region: Latvia –

Source: President of Latvia in English

These have been two events, and new knowledge-rich days. I am honored that our national century in Latvia, visiting my colleagues – heads of state from 12 countries. For latvia this is an important time, but for the whole of Europe – new change and a challenging time. This meeting was a great opportunity for direct and open conversation to discuss for us the essential – how to maintain and further develop a unified, secure and prosperous Europe. The future of discussion for many years is Arajološas group president of the meeting’s central theme. We had a discussion about the challenges facing the European Union member states and their citizens, and the solutions to overcome them in cooperation with both policy makers and citizens. We were looking for answers to the question – whether is enough of a conscious public demand for the future of Europe? What is the citizens ‘ perspective on the EU development and the future of the EU? Citizens are the ones who elect the politicians. Without their perspective and involvement we will not be able to achieve sustainable and stable development of the European Union.Responsible attitude towards the future of Europe is deeply rooted in the European traģiskajās pages of history. Latvia has a clear European development perspective, which is determined by the Latvian state in the 100-year history. It is closely linked with many European countries and nations destinies. We have experienced two world wars, three the occupation, the mode of exchange and all over the human tragic fate. All over the human courage, determination and faith for the future.Currently, the discussion on the future of Europe can no longer remain solely as the theme of the philosophical apcerēm. The future of europe is the practical need of the character. It is a necessity – to assess where we go wrong. It is a necessity – operatively to make decisions and implement results-generating solutions. It is a necessity – neizšķiest resources and create sustainable policies that will serve the citizens of the European Union. While yesterday’s working session at the Rundāle palace talked about today’s security challenges. The european Union’s decades of achievements – prosperity, peace and political stability in recent years has been called into question. Subsequently, on the causes of have also been external attempts to deny the European instrument for democracy progress and even intervene in European political processes. To admit that into home policy questions have been prudent to recognise these challenges and kavējušies sustainable and the public in important decisions and their explanations. Efforts to intervene at national level in the elections and to influence national policy choices, false information, manipulation of public opinion, the use of technology misinformation spread and many others – have become part of European political life everyday ingredients.Being aware of the challenge of diversity and their often unpredictable effects, it is important to provide a wide range of security policy, the existence of the resources and their upgrades. Europe must continue pending a commitment to strengthen their military capabilities. Cannot afford to be careless against challenges such as inequality, the gap between power and society, climate change risks, societal fragmentation, and living in the so-called information bubbles. They are today’s challenges that sometimes manipulates the external players to call into question our ability to act. Important national and pan-European persistence of soft security in the area will decrease, if will not be sufficiently done, to strengthen our military capabilities. In turn, the military protection will suffer if we do not act to strengthen the soft security.Latvia is resolute in its action to identify and prevent potential risks, as well as to make Europe and its citizens ‘ security sustainable. Latvia is proud of its contribution to the European security-building. Latvia has become the home of the NATO Strategic communications centre of excellence, as well as we are one of the European center of Excellence to combat hybrid threats founder members.

Again I want to thank my fellow presidents for the excellent discussion and for the presence of Latvia in the us important and simboliskajā century.
