Today, September 28, in the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation, the head of the department Pavel Kolobkov held a working meeting with the Commissioner under the President of the Russian Federation on the rights of the child Anna Kuznetsova.
The parties discussed issues of cooperation and the development of joint programs in the framework of the implementation of the Decree of the President of Russia “On declaring a Decade of Childhood in the Russian Federation” (2018-2027).
“Minsport of Russia pays great attention to the development and popularization of physical culture and sports among children and young people, including orphans, children left without parental care in difficult life situations,” noted Pavel Kolobkov. “After all, physical culture and sports are important not only in terms of high achievements, but also as a formation of a full-fledged personality, prevention of offenses and bad habits, and physical and moral education of children.”
The parties agreed to develop a joint project under the working title “Sports Summer”, so that in the summer period as many children as possible could be covered by various sporting events.
In addition, Pavel Kolobkov and Anna Kuznetsova discussed the topic of mentoring in sports.
"Trainers carry a huge educational potential. For children who are in orphanages, this is especially important, – said Anna Kuznetsova. – In my life there were examples, when exactly coaches became guiding people for children who found themselves in a difficult life situation. In remote corners of Russia, municipalities, villages and villages there are children who need to help find the way to sports, and, therefore, the road to self-realization in life. "
In conclusion, the parties expressed their confidence that their joint activities will yield positive results for ensuring the quality of life and health of Russian children.
