Headline: Federal Council adopts two regulations on alcohol law

At its meeting on 28 September 2018, the Federal Council passed two ordinances on the partially revised alcohol law of 2016. These will form the basis for the liberalization of the ethanol market as of 1 January 2019 and for the transfer of 60 million Swiss francs from the operational fund of the former Federal Alcohol Administration (EAV) to old-age, survivors' and disability insurance.
