Chancellor Trujillo strengthened the bilateral relationship with the United Arab Emirates

New York (sep. 26/18). During its agenda work in New York, foreign minister Carlos Holmes Trujillo met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The leader of the diplomacy of the colombian expressed his appreciation for the invitation sent to the President of the Republic, Ivan Duque Márquez, to visit the United Arab Emirates and attend the ceremony of ‘Zayed Prize to Sustainability’, January 14, 2019.

The Chancellor Trujillo stressed the interest of Colombia in strengthening the bilateral trade and attract investment from the United Arab Emirates, at the time, which showed itself welcomes the increase of the investment funds of that nation in our country.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the interest of Colombia to continue to cooperate in tourism, security, renewable energy, climate change, education and vocational training.
