Great cause of the quinquennium, equality between women and men today mobilizes the entire Government around a strong strategy, which will unfold in all fields where equality must become real. This is the goal of the interdepartmental committee this Thursday, March 8.

The interministerial committee for equality between women and men, chaired by the Prime Minister, is the culmination of the Tour de France of Equality. The committee's flagship measures are largely inspired by the ideas that emerged during this citizen consultation.

The aim is to transmit and disseminate the culture of equality, to act for professional equality throughout life, to live equality on a daily basis by promoting access to rights. Thus in school, at work, in public services, in transport, in the media, on the streets, in our leisure time, on the Internet … the Government is determined to act wherever women's lives must change.

Four axes and flagship measures emerge to achieve equality between men and women.
