At the meeting on 26./27. September 2018, said the ETH-Council of the great importance of international collaboration and networking for education, research and Innovation. Without a framework agreement with the EU, the danger that Switzerland will be excluded from the EU’s research framework programmes. Also, the self-determination initiative, which in November will be voted in jeopardy the international cooperation and to the success of the universities and of Research in Switzerland.
