The tsunami in Indonesia

The brazilian government took note, with deep regret, of the tsunami that hit the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia, on Friday, September 28, leaving hundreds of dead and wounded.

The brazilian government regrets the tragic earthquake and tsunami, and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims, their votes recovery to the wounded and their solidarity with the people and government of indonesian.

Up to now, there is no record of brazilians victimized by the phenomenon. The foreign ministry will follow closely following the situation through the Embassy of Brazil in Jakarta and the Division of Consular Assistance (DAC) in Brasilia.
