Headline: More money for local radio and regional TV

The Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (DETEC) increases the financial support for licensed local radio stations and regional TV as of 1 January 2019 by 13.5 million Swiss francs. They will receive a total of 81 million francs a year from the proceeds of the radio and television broadcast. The increase in premium will implement a decision of the Federal Council of 18 October 2017.
