Message of congratulations to Kevin Richmond, elected Mister Grand International

The President and his government would like to congratulate Kevin Richmond, Mister Tahiti, who has been elected as Mister Grand International, in the capital of the Philippines, Manila.

Mister Tahiti has done honor to its title, coming on the top step of the podium of this contest, before the Dutch, Mike Piek, and the Philippines, David Simon. These three finalists have distinguished themselves in this election which brought 15 competitors from across the globe. Kevin Richmond has, also, been noticed during the passage in holding sports as well as Barong Tagalog, the national dress of the Filipinos.

Once again, the ambassadors of the beauty and polynesian culture have held high our colors in an international competition, giving a beautiful image of Polynesia and its people.
