Villavicencio (Sep. 29/18). The President of the Republic, Iván Duque Márquez, presented his greetings to the community of Villavicencio, in Meta, where the Workshop Building Country is held, and expressed his satisfaction for the bilateral meetings he held this week in New York, in the company of Chancellor Carlos Holmes Trujillo.
The Head of State highlighted the meeting with the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and highlighted the visit to Colombia of the North American leader in November.
President Duque also underscored Colombia’s participation in the Investment Opportunities Summit of the Pacific Alliance in New York and said that “the Pacific Alliance is a very important advance in trade integration, it must continue to be strengthened and we must continue strengthening the relationship between the four founding countries “to continue improving the value chain of Colombian products.
The national leader also highlighted the completion of the First International Building Country Workshop, held in New York on September 23, with the participation of Colombians abroad.
The ninth meeting held by President Duque, in the framework of its weekly workshops with Colombians, has the participation of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luz Stella Jara, the government cabinet and local authorities of Meta.
