Room approved project that raises broadcast by open TV football matches of the first division

Ensure the transmission of the official matches of the national tournament of football of the first division by the television reception, ensuring the access of the media to the stadium for access to the sources of information, is the aim of the project approved today by the board of the Chamber of Deputies.
The initiative (bulletin 10446), according to the text proposed by the Commission of Culture, guarantees the right to universal access, through the services of audiovisual communication, the informational content of interest and relevant sporting events, meetings, football or any other genre or specialty. In this line, he notes that the existence of exclusive rights for transmission of sports events may not limit the right to information.
It says after an official match of the national tournament of soccer of first division, for each date, shall be broadcast live for television reception, as well as two official parties a month to the National Championship of the First Division of Women’s Football. The television channels may agree with the clubs a share on the sales of the advertising that is contracted with the occasion of the transmissions identified.
The transmission of the matches shall be determined by common agreement between the ANFP (National Association of Professional Football) and the concessionaires of television reception. The parties cautelarán that all clubs have a presence in such transmissions at least once per wheel. For all of these effects are defined formalities and requirements to be followed by the parties.
The project also grants the right to the licensees of television at the national or regional levels, as well as to the electronic media authorized, to enter the stadiums where will take place matches of the official tournaments of the national football, take pictures and play them back on the news of the respective channel. May not establish arbitrary differences of access to sources of information.
During the discussion there were several legislators who expressed their agreement with the initiative, but also detractors that motivated the project was approved only in general, by 66 votes in favour, 44 against and 6 abstentions, pending the vote of the articulated until it is seen again by the Committee on Culture, now in the light of the indications.
