Following the passage of hurricanes Irma and Maria, the Prime minister has made November 4 to 6, a displacement in Martinique, Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy.

These visits are a continuation of the work of the Interdepartmental Committee for the Reconstruction of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin. On this occasion, the Prime Minister went to meet individuals and professionals affected by hurricanes and services mobilized to provide relief and ensure public order.

Traveling to the French West Indies, Édouard Philippe met the young people of the Adapted Military Service Regiment (RSMA) in Martinique on Saturday, November 4th. Aged between 18 and 25, they take one of the thirty courses offered to help them access a job more easily. After the speech of thanks to the services that intervened in the French West Indies following the hurricanes, the Prime Minister exchanged with these young people who build and guarantee the future of Martinique.
