Memorial University has received more than $ 4 million in funding from the Government of Canada through the Strategic Investment Fund for Postsecondary Institutions for the redevelopment of the Battery Building, which will relocate four of the Innovation Center to form a provincial center for innovation and public engagement. This will create a multi-disciplinary collaborative space that will facilitate partnerships between academia, industry partners and communities.
