From 1 June 2018, the Ministry of the Interior will pass its warning and prevention messages on Twitter, Facebook and Google but also on certain communication channels of the RATP, Vinci Autoroutes, Radio France and France Televisions. This is indeed what the Ministry announced in a press release of May 29, 2018.

On Twitter, a special banner may appear at the top of the tweets of each connected user to inform him of the situation, the ministry also inviting all users to subscribe and activate notifications @ @Beauvau_Alert account to receive alerts on their phone in the event of a serious event.

On Facebook, the ministry will be able to communicate via the "Safety Check" which is a feature of Facebook allowing users to tell their relatives that they are safe.

Finally, Google will relay ministry messages on its search engine when users search the affected area or the keywords searched by users will be related to the current event (terrorist attack or natural disaster) .
