Control mission in the Bialowieza Forest

A meeting of stakeholders took place yesterday, including representatives of ecological organizations, local community, administrators of the area with a delegation of the Ministry of the Environment.
The current mission is the fulfillment of the decisions of the UNESCO Committee on the Bialowieza Forest of 5 July 2017. The World Heritage Center is kept up to date on the activities undertaken and the meeting that is currently taking place gives the opportunity to clarify on the spot any doubts. The discussion focuses on the rational and substantive presentation of current activities and the future of the Cross-border UNESCO World Heritage Site "Bialowieza Forest".
