Also, the intergovernmental agreement on scientific and technological cooperation signed during the visit and the memorandum on cooperation in the field of sports are also to be welcomed. These agreements will serve as a good basis for developing closer cooperation in areas of mutual interest, "said Raimonds Vējonis. From 15 September to 20 September 2018, President Raimonds Vējonis is on a working visit to the People's Republic of China during a meeting with Chinese President Szy Dzypin and participated in the Regional Economic Forum of the World Economic Forum.
